The Nachueak community hospital in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj hospital, Mahidol University will be holding an elective program in general medicine for Ms. Nike Arnstadt, a medical student from the Munich University, Germany. Ms. Arnstadt is most welcome to visit and undertake an elective programme in general medicine at the Nachueak community hospital, Mahasarakham province. The visiting program is being conducted for 2 weeks during 10-24 January 2010. Objectives of the visit aim to learn health system in Thailand’s rural area, case management under limited facilities and working with Primary Care Unit (PCU) as well as visiting communities and learning hospital’s referral system particularly for a referral system between community, provincial and regional hospitals.
